Material: charred wood (yakisugi), copper patina with soy sauce,

Exhibition presenting a collaboration between 35 artists and 7 scientists researching natural processes that could lead to a more sustainable way of living.

Presented at NWO LIFE (Egmond aan Zee) and in Paradise (The Hague)

This project is in collaboration with MA Non Linear Narrative, BA Interior Architecture & Furniture Design and the Dutch Research Council (NWO)

Pedestal for the exhibition Closed Cycles.

We used a grinder to add texture to spruce wood and burned the surface

to create the yakisugi finishing.
